With manufacturing and assembling done in-house at the Calgary location your custom rigging can be accomplished in minutes all from the substantial inventory supply held on site.
One of our clients contracted Canyon Rigging to construct a custom fire extinguisher mount that could handle industrial environments with exposure to different chemical compounds. The challenges we faced included a desire to keep the mount lightweight, to withstand wear and tear, and to resist deterioration from chemical exposure. For this, we chose a polyester webbing material, providing us with a strong and lightweight design that also has incredible chemical resistance.
To help provide extra durability and survivability, we designed a grid pattern with two loops for mounting and two industrial grade buckles. The grid pattern allowed the mount to withstand minor cuts in the material without losing structural integrity. The loops provided an easy mounting system while maintaining a simple sewing pattern and avoiding weak points. Last, we chose industrial grade buckles to provide a simple system for installing the fire extinguisher that would accommodate a variety extinguishers types.
